Question: Moving a business is expensive. From employee time lost in preparing for the move and unpacking in the new space to the cost of movers to notifying your customers of the change. How will TransGlobe assist me with this process?
Answer: Our Commercial Property Managers are right here to help you plan your company move. From coordinating the elevator to ordering new signage, we are experienced in assisting tenants to coordinate their move to ensure minimal down time for their company.
Question: What expenses will my company be responsible to pay?
Answer: Your Lease will clearly set out what charges will be billed back to your company and which charges will be absorbed by TransGlobe. You will receive an annual reconciliation of the expenses that your company is responsible for to assist you with your annual budget process.
Question: How do I submit a maintenance request?
Answer: Maintenance requests may be submitted directly to our Commercial Department by calling 905-694-9872 or email gtapropertyservice@gotransglobe.com.
Question: How do I reserve an elevator for move in?
Answer: As a courtesy to our other Commercial Tenants at your new property, we will work with you to schedule an elevator at a time that creates the least disruption for our tenants. Please do not request to have an elevator on service at the start of end of a work or during the lunch period. Our Commercial staff will work with you to coordinate an after hours move if required.
Question: Where will my employee park? Will there be additional charges for employee and visitor parking?
Answer: Parking spaces will be allotted in accordance with the amount of commercial space that is leased. Depending on availability, additional parking may be available upon request.
Question: Is TransGlobe responsible for any damage to or theft from motor vehicles parked at the rented premises.
Answer: TransGlobe strives to maintain secure premises but is not responsible for any theft or damage that may occur to motor vehicle parked at the rented premises. Vehicles owners must report any theft or damage to their motor vehicle to the local police and proceed with a claim through their automobile insurance policy should the need arise. TransGlobe will cooperate with any police investigation as required.
Question: May I keep an unlicensed vehicle on TransGlobe Property?
Answer: It is against TransGlobe policy to keep unlicensed vehicles at our properties. Our Property Managers will monitor with the assistance of our Building Operators, the parking at their properties and will arrange to have any unlicensed or abandoned vehicles removed from the property on a regular basis.
Question: Is TransGlobe responsible for damage or theft to our company's belongings or that of our customers or employees should they be damaged in our rented premises.
Answer: TransGlobe is not responsible for any loss or damage to corporate belongings or those of your customers or employees while situated on the rented premises in accordance with the terms of your lease. It is a condition of your lease that you obtain additional insurance at your own expense in order to protect you from any loss or liability which may occur.
Question: Our Company has grown. We love our TransGlobe workspace, but desperately need more space. Do you allow for transfers or sublets?
Answer: TransGlobe understands the need for our commercial tenants to have to expand or downsize whatever the case may be. Our Leasing Professionals and Commercial Property Managers are experienced to help you to either expand or find new space as current availability allows. Our Staff will work with your company to negotiate a new lease for the new space.
